Therme Horizon, Therme Group's joint venture with CVC Capital Partners, today announced the appointment of Christian Woller as Chief Executive Officer. The venture operates and advances Therme Group’s founding portfolio of operational and in-development destinations across Europe.
Woller joins at a time of rapid expansion for Therme Group and will lead the Therme Horizon portfolio through its next phase of growth, strengthening its market position while advancing the joint ventures vision for wellbeing infrastructure as a defining new civic asset shaping the future of cities.
Christian Woller has spent more than two decades leading and growing some of the world's most recognized entertainment destinations. Throughout his career with Merlin Entertainments, he held a series of senior leadership roles, including VP of LEGOLAND Billund Resort, before most recently serving as Managing Director for Merlin's European and APAC theme park resorts and indoor attractions portfolio, overseeing commercial and operational performance across Europe, Asia, and Australia.
As CEO of Therme Horizon, Woller will oversee its strategic expansion through new developments and facility enhancements. Therme Horizon is currently comprised of five operational facilities: Therme Bucharest, Therme Erding, Therme Sinsheim, Therme Euskirchen and Badeparadies Schwarzwald (Titisee). These facilities joined Therme Group in 2025 through the acquisition of Thermengruppe Josef Wund portfolio, integrating all four Wund-origin destinations into its global platform.
